24 weeks...

Today I am 24 weeks which is 6 months! my little baby is 168 days old. Only 16 weeks remaining until my DD!

basically the only significance of this week is my Beans little lungs are getting stronger, and hair is beginning to grow on the head! If it takes after his/her daddy we can expect a FULL head of hair!!

I feel him/her partying it up in my womb, all the time.. definitely beginning to notice the kicks and punches getting stronger.

My 3rd trimester is right around the corner!

This weekend was my stores 2 year anninversary it was a BIG success!

Joy from Wildflowers photos shot some great photos! She was even able to squeeze in me for a few shots! :) So nice of her!

Nursery additions

Been debating about "nursery wall colors" and I came to decision im going with 'swiss Coffee' walls , which is pretty much White. and chose some really complementing Tree decals to put on the wall. I found them on Etsy.com, and I think they are going to work out JUST perfect.

Its crazy I have this amazing vision for my nursery design, but it requires a lot more space then I realistically have to work with. Bummer!

I don't even think the 5x8 rug I bought will end up fitting as "imagined" it too.

I went with a "concrete grey" color to match my Oeuf Sparrow crib....

I will post pictures of my progress with the nursery as soon as I actually move into the home the nursery is in. The big move-in day is Monday! So excited, but sad to be leaving Downtown LA. I love it. and it was FABULOUS while it lasted.

and we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary this Saturday!

Im so blessed to so far not have been hit "hard" by the economy and I can only pray business continues to flourish for me!

And Im honored to have Joy from Wildflowers Photos , join in on the fun! She'll be doing 'mini photo sessions' for $250 instead of her normal rate which around about $1500.

23 weeks...well almost.

I took a couple 'self portraits' I usually have Kim take them for me

which we will continue doing, but I figure since im realllly starting to get BIG, Id capture it! lol

Doctors Appointment went well, Heart rate was 159. and I gained 8 pounds in the last 30 days, which I dreading to hear...but whatever! I'm just going to cut out some sugar, and focus on more nutritional foods that will be

more beneficial and hopefully wont pack the pounds on me!!!

oh, and I experienced the first bout of "HICCUPS" it was so cute, and weird!

Baby Shower coming up!

Having my First baby shower on NOV 1. being held by some close friends in my hood, kind of a "Welcome Home" thing, since Im moving back to Somis on the 19th...mind you I havent EVEN started to pack yet. :/

I feel so blessed that I have so many friends and family who are so supportive, and care so much about the Bean and I! Thanks guys! :)

I got my Invitation to the shower, and Its soo cute! I love it!




I have a Dr. Appointment today, kinda nervous, I opted to not get my second trimester screen done, because I'm confident everything so far is good. Lets just hope he doesn't tell me i'm gaining too much weight, or my placenta hasn't moved up!
I'll update my blog tonight again with any significant information! :)

RUMPAROOZ Cloth Diapers

Well, I sourced about 6 different Cloth diapers at the ABC show in Vegas....
You name the brand I got the spiel!
and I have to say I was very impressed by this company which I inevitably ordered for myself, but for my store also.
Now, keep in mind I know NOTHING about cloth diapering except for that it is cheaper, more time consuming, and better for our mother earth....so i'm no expert when it comes to really knowing pros and cons when it comes to actual use of the diapers, but I will say, I know babies.... they piss all over, and can have EXPLOSIVE poops!
