The Beans first Oringal ART piece

So some of you may know my admiration toward "Where the Wild Things Are"
and Im so excited for the Movie, and I love the book!
whats even greater about being such a huge fan of it, is the Bean doesnt have a choice but to be a fan of it also! :)
So I went to a "WTWTA" art show a couple weeks back, in Los Angeles at the Nucleus Gallery, held by the best blog ever! Terrible Yellow Eyes
and I made a big purchase of an original digital art piece by Jason Caffoe
Special for my little Bean!

here it is;
and here it is hanging in the gallery;

Soon it will grace the wall of my nursery.

21 weeks.

Hello 21 weeks! I know i skipped a week, but I've been super busy!!
Today I am 21 weeks and 2 days pregnant, 53.2% through, and 131 days remaining until D-DAY!
Bean is approx 10.5 in and weighs approx 12.5oz ...ALMOST A POUND!
I'm beginning to familiarize myself with the Beans sleep cycles. Its pretty neat. He/She is sleeping and its all peaceful in my belly, and then He/She wakes and its a party in my belly. The kicking is becoming stronger each week , because my little babies muscles are developing and getting stronger with each passing week. A milestone for this week is I can now feel the kicks from the outside, its amazing, and now I will be awaiting the sight of tiny feet and fists coming to the surface of my tummy.
Sad News : I officially weigh the most I've ever weighed in my life! and I'm sad, but....I know its for a wonderful reason! :)

KICKER.!

Im back from las Vegas, and it was a big success!
I ordered all my furniture, my rug, glider, and some clothe diapers!

Unfortunately I got some really terrible news while I was there, my uncle Johnny had lost his battle with cancer. He had his family right by his side, and passed away peacefully. When I think of this side of my family Im so bummed we aren't as close as we all used to be as kids, and teenagers....I hope this will bring us all closer together, and my bean will be able to know and have a relationship with his/her extended family! We'll see.... So this weekend I will be attending all the services to celebrate his life! Rest In Peace John Borchard Friedrich II.

Today I've lounging and catching up on some much needed sleep... My little bean has been KICKING like crazy! pretty much all day, I don't think this kid has even napped in there in today! lol! this weekend ill be 20 weeks so I will updating pictures, and will officially have hit the HALF-WAY mark in the pregnancy! WOOT WOOT! :)

18.5 weeks

Today marks 18.5 weeks, and im almost half way through! Bean is approx. 5.6 inches long & weighs 6.7 oz. There is not much significance in the development this week, except reflexive movements are beginning to take place...i.e., blinking, mouth movements, sucking,swallowing, yawning, and stretching.
I feel the Bean moving around all through out the day now, and its making this become much more real for me! I had my 18.5 check up and got to see little bean! He/She was kicking, touching it's face, opening and closing its tiny mouth, and being a bit camera shy if you ask me!
My Dr. says I have a "low lying" placenta....he says not to worry because hopefully it will move up before 28 weeks. so I'm not going to stress about it.

Today helped me realize nothing else matters besides me and my little baby! So the amount of turmoil I've been subjecting myself too, came to an end today. Things will start to look up for me! Here's a quote that I will say to myself over and over to keep my head straight!

"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." --Samuel Beckett

My 18.5 week belly pics, My dog Lola was getting a lil jealous, she wanted to be involved in a few shots...dont mind her!

BUBBLE GUTS.

Over the last few days, I want to believe I experienced the first bouts of fetal movement...however it can only be compared to what it feels like to have bubble guts.... except I know this isnt "gas"
So im convinced the bubbling, kinda of popping, fluttering sensations Ive been having is in fact little bean swimming around... and it makes me happy. I know soon Bean wont have room to swim around, so enjoy it now little one, because soon enough you'll really be kicking, and I definitely wont be confused as to what that "sensation" is.
And for the 30 books Ive read that say it feels like "butterflies", I beg to differ...
I think they should say "Between 16-20 weeks, you will soon feel fetal movement, it can best be described as what your stomach most likely feels like after you eat Mexican Food"
If that was how it was put, I probably wouldn't be second guessing myself.
