Today....

HEAT WAVE.

It was sooo hot today all my Peej wanted was to lay on me and make me scratch her back....
I love my baby!

Tomato Soup.

So as you all know I have had an overload of tomatoes from my garden so I decided to make some homemade tomato soup from scratch! I have NEVER attempted a soup before, figured it would be pretty easy, but to my surprise it was kind of complicated, but anyways, I think it was a success!

The final taste test : PASSED, and now I have mucho tomato soup sitting in my freezer for chilly nights!

TOTAL LOSS - 6 inches

So making progress! STILL so far away from my goal though! :/

Nice little Saturday

Today I took Pella to watch the sunset at the beach! it was beautiful, and even though she didnt really "know" or could "appreciate" the beauty, it was a special time for her and I. I found joy in watching her touch the sand and squeeze it. I laughed watching her kick her feet and look back at me to see my reaction. Shes been having a ROUGH couple night with teething, waking every couple hours, whining and needing me...so I figured maybe being in a relaxed setting would help ease her "wildness" a tad! lol Tonight was the first night in 3 nights of her taking a bottle without a fight and letting me lay her down in her crib! I hope the night is more restful for her, we are BOTH EXHAUSTED!

Quick tip!
You don't need to spend big money on flowers at the Farmers Market, or Florist shop, take advantage of what you have in your own yard! Even plants, or flowers you wouldn't think would make a nice arrangement, you'd be surprised...can actually be transformed into the perfect arrangement!
I picked some Rosemary , Lavender, and Spanish Lavender threw in an antique jar, and now my house smells LOVELY!

Backin up..

Marce Schrute Garden...

I spent a couple hours manicuring my garden today, made the last of the Carrots harvest. Picked some jalepenos, chilis and MUCHO Tomatoes.Peej was clearly amazed by her tomatoes!

MUST HAVE BABY ITEM

As you all may know, or dont know, Pella has had a lingering cold here for the last week, or shes hardcore teething, I'm not really sure which it is, maybe its BOTH. But her nose is running like a faucet, clear....so that's a good sign. She has not had a fever, so that's a plus, but on top of her runny nose shes CHOMPING on shit HARD, has a diaper rash, which isn't a common occurrence, and a dry cough.....so with that said I am CONSTANTLY wiping her nose and its starting to become a bit raw :(
BUT I BOUGHT THIS WONDERFUL TOOL, AND if you dont have one you MUST run out and get one today!!!!!

the electric nasal aspirator!!sucks out those boogers like nobodies business, and doesn't seem to make her go insane while doing it! She is actually quite interested in what is up her nose...lol!
I just squirt some 'Lil Noses' saline up there, and SUCK THAT SNOT OUT!

Sunday Funday

I went at visited my sister today only had a couple hours, but shes looked AMAZING, and sounds AMAZING, I am soooo proud of her! She is finally getting the help shes needed for a long time to battle some skeletons in her closet, and it takes a brave strong woman to put EVERYTHING on hold to focus on getting her life back on track, and becoming the amazing woman I know she is!

I also am super excited about Pella's first halloween so, I did a little photoshoot with her just to get into the spirit. Shes not going to be this for Halloween, shes actually going to be a Octopus!
