baby CRAP..not poop.

So I've found myself CONSTANTLY picking up crap that accumulates around my house...mostly baby stuff..and I have never really had OCD or really even been meticulous about organization, but after having a baby I went from prety minimum to basic household stuff, to what seems like an OVERLOAD. Dont get me wrong, I love motherhood, but boy does the CRAP pile up....

I took some pictures of how Pellas goodies have slowly made it into "my" stuff! Its actually cute in a way, but you wouldn't be able to understand what I mean unless you are a mom.

my Kitchen counter has been taken over my the infamous "bottle drying rack" and all the miscellaneous bottle parts, there are days I wish those things could just wash themselves!

My Bedroom "toiletries" ...you'll now find baby lotion, teething tablets, and Stretch mark cream, agmongst my everyday lotions and perfumes....

Bathroom sink is where Pellas bathtub seems to live these days, and all her foam Alphabet letters....

Today Peej and a couple friends ventured out to Long Beach for an arts n crafts show called Patchwork...Surprisingly it was well worth the drive, and potential meltdowns while driving with Peej. There was alot of great Vendors there showing off their god given artistic talents....

baby food and PIGS!

Today, I made Pellas First batch of baby food!

My garden is getting pretty serious over here and I was able to pick alot of spinach and some beets! So here it is her VERY FIRST batch of ORGANIC homemade spinach and beets (not to mention I NEVER have tasted a beet before in my life until today, and Im pretty sure I will be eating them way more often!)

So, here is my garden as off today! lookin' nice and LUSH, everything is growin' beautifully..

Artichokes, tomatoes,cucumbers, zucchini,summer squash, peas, beets, carrots,lettuce, bell peppers, watermelon, cantelope, spinach, and butternut squash is what my garden consist of!

EEEK so many gooooodies! cant wait!

And today we had dinner at a close friends, and they raise pigs, so Pella had her first encounter with a Big momma pig, she LOVED it, she smiled at her, and laughed hysterically at her!!! She loved to touch her nose and her hand was covered in PIG SNOT. N.B.D. she better get used to it as she will be a little rancher girl! like mother like daughter!

What's your favorite thing about being a mom? everything. except maybe the lack of sleep. i love being responsible for such a cute little thing and i really enjoy experiencing all her firsts and teaching her new things.
What's your least favorite thing about being a mom?: i think most moms agree - the lack of sleep. after months of restless, interrupted sleep i was starting to feel just constantly grouchy and anxious. the past few weeks have been getting better though. knock on wood.

Tell us why your kid is the bomb.com: first, she is so.damn.cute. she is full of personality and definitely lets you know what she wants.shes strong that way, and physically too. shes been crawling and standing on things for awhile now, pretty sure shes going to walk real soon. she already loves animals, especially cats and she loves to read!
One of your favorite "remedies/ or tricks of the trade"(for gas,teething,sleep,ANYTHING): i cant really think of anything too groundbreaking right now but i think the best way to cheer up a fussy baby is to take them outdoors. distract her. liv almost instantly smiles the second we step out the door.

4 months

Here we are, Pella is 4 months and 1 week old!
People say the time flies, for me however it hasnt. I have been patiently waiting and waiting for things to get better and changes to take place. Who am I kidding? Things with me are getting better slowly but surely, Ive cut the negative out, completely and it feels good. I dont like feeling used and abused, nor do I deserve that. Ive made alot of changes in the last 4 months, to better myself, and to be able to provide a happy, healthy home for Pella. I still have a long way to go with some things, and as I accept and take in "IM DOING THE RIGHT THING" AND "IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS OR SAYS" It will just get even better and easier for me.
I have been pulled in so many different directions and jaded by what my brain automatically thinks is right, its been H.A.R.D. However I now know that having a baby is the hardest job and thing anyone can do, and im doing it, and doing it WELL. Pella is on a schedule, a hardcore one. she wakes up every morning for the most part happy, eats, plays and or watches Yo Gabba Gabba (it her fave) and takes a nap...this repeats throughout the day until we hit 8pm she gets a bath, a bottle and is down for the count. We experience good nights, where she sleeps until 4am-5am and we are still experiencing bad night where shes up at 12:30am,2am,4am,7am.... but thats the life of a baby, completely unpredictable! Her tummy issues cease to exsist, as shes been solely on Nutramigen for about 2 months now. Shes still gassy which usually means POOP is making its way down the pipes..shes still not pooping everyday she goes about every other day to every 2 days. Her 4 month well check went well, shes labeled as "TINY" weighing in at 11lbs and measuring 24" long...her weight is the 8% isle, height 50% and head is 2%.
shes my tiny dancer. some milestones are shes rolling over from tummy to back, still having some issue with back to tummy...shes trying sooo hard. she reaches for toys, she follows my voice looks for me, and watches me all the time! she is testing out allthe different textures of things with her tongue, not quite shoving things in her mouth shes still very unsure....
She laughs, and smiles, she coo's and goo's, plays with her feet and she still loves bathtime.

UNFORTUNATELY I CANT EXPRESS MY EMOTION ON MY PERSONAL BLOG BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE OFFENDED.....WHICH YES, THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY, HOWEVER IVE DONE EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO BE A MAUTRE ADULT AND DO THE BEST FOR MY DAUGHTER, WHILE MY CHILDS FATHER CAN NOOOOOOOOOT SAY THE SAME...... ITS PRETTY UNFORTUNATE AND SAD HE NEEDS TO TRY AND BLAST ME, AND MAKE PEOPLE THINK IM A TERRIBLE PERSON WHEN BOTTOM LINE IS, I AM NOT.

HE REALLY NEEDS TO GROW UP, IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT I POST, IF YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH JOEY AND NOT ME, OR SUPPORT JOEYS CHOICES, THEN PLEASE DO NOT READ MY BLOG, BC I WRITE ON THIS FOR THERAPY...AND NOT TO BE THROWN UNDER THE BUS, BC HE FEELS GUILTY. SORRY PEOPLE, BUT ITS EXTREMELY UPSETTING HE WILL NOT LET ME WRITE MY FEELINGS.
