  2. I'm not a Dr but I think the ankle think is normal, my daughter had it too. And for the constipation have they sent her to a GI specialist? My daughter has suffered from constipation since 5 months (now 2 1/2), they gave her some polyglycol (sp?) and it makes her poo within 24 hours.

  3. My daughter had really bad bow legs when she was younger we had to take her to a specialist and they said just wait it out it's totally normal for kids to have slight degrees of bend any which way and they will usually grow out of it by 2 or so. So dont worry too much about it mom!

  4. So I took a look at my daughters feet, she just turned 14 mos and is walking...her feet are very flat. I didn't really notice the ankles turning in but maybe her muscles are developed more since she is walking. I definitely dont think its anything you need to go to the ER about or even rush to the Dr about. I'm pretty sure this is common for babies since their muscles are still developing. Next time Pella has a Dr appt just be sure to ask them about it. If you are too worried to wait till then just give them a call and ask over the phone. If it is something to be concerned about, most likely they will tell you that she needs to wear special shoes to correct it.
As an adult my feet/ankles look just like this. My Drs noticed it when I was a baby and my parents didn't keep up with me wearing the shoes so because of that I have knee problems. BUT like I said before, it could be nothing.

  5. as everyone else has said a certain amount of bowleggedness is to be expected at that age. They soon straighten out as they get the hang of walking and strengthen up their legs

  6. Poor baby :( Impactions are soo painful! I know you have tried everything for Peej's constipation but am wondering if you have tried Salba? It is an all natural grain that can be added to things like yogurt, applesauce, eggs, etc. and it relieves constipation. I get it at whole foods or lassens and use it for my son to keep him regular. Love your blog and I think you are an AMAZING momma!! keep up the good work :)
